About

I am a 24 year old husband to Shari, father to Samuel Luke, and seminarian at George W. Truett Theological Seminary in Waco, TX.  This blog is mostly my way of journaling about life, faith, and the new discoveries and experiences of fatherhood.

I was a youth pastor for about two and a half years at a traditional baptist church, and I grew up in a traditional baptist church background. Right now I’m struggling with how faith should play out in every day life, and I’m trying to discover what it means to follow Jesus in the American Empire of the early 21st century [that’s right now]. Needless to say, I’m ready for change. So, most of my writings and musings will reflect this struggle.
